Assets’ names on Cardano are not unique and are quite easily duplicated. In response, native assets are assigned a Policy ID, which is a unique identifier attached to the asset permanently. Many NFTs or native assets use the Policy ID as a public verifier of the authenticity of the asset.
It will vary across the DEXs. Currently, Nami wallet and CCVault are supported as they have dApp connector.
No KYC is required to make a trade on a DEX. KYC may be required for a CEX.
It’s up to you! You are required to have $ada and a web3 wallet (Nami or ccvault.io) to be able to purchase $MELD through a DEX. As for a CEX, users must create an account to purchase $MELD with other stablecoins.
